Tamar Jones has spent many years exploring the different areas of the craft industry before deciding to settle down and start guiding others along her path. She started her career as a designer at a locally renowned brand, where she gathered several years of experience contributing to, and eventually overseeing projects related to fashion and branding.

Afterwards, Ms. Jones joined a rapidly growing team of professional designers as a consultant. This exposed her to a wide range of different projects, some of which leveraged international relationships and various pieces of advanced technology. Tamar Jones was among the pioneers of using vinyl cutters in her industry, leading to the rapid spread of the idea in her region.

Her work as a consultant brought her close to many of the company’s clients, providing her with an opportunity to engage them in deep conversations about the current state of the industry and their needs. Ms Jones eventually started her own business focused on craft equipment and supplies. Using the knowledge she had gained during her previous years, she was able to accurately identify the needs of aspiring craftspeople in her area and supplied them with the appropriate technical solutions, while also providing in-depth guidance.

Following a few successful years on the market, Ms Tamar Jones decided to focus her energy solely on consulting and helping others succeed. This led her to her work on Crafts Selection, where she has been sharing her knowledge with anyone willing to stop by and read. Ms Tamar Jones is currently the editor-in-chief of Crafts Selection, overseeing all content and verifying articles to ensure that they are as comprehensive and helpful as possible.

Despite not being directly involved in the craft industry for a few years now, Ms. Jones continues to actively follow new developments in the field and has been continuously brushing up her knowledge on new trends, products, and platforms worth exploring. She balances her life as a full-time blogger and crafter with taking care of her three happy kids, who have been showing more and more interest in her craft work over the last couple of years.
